Activities
Air-Rifle Shooting is carried out on an indoor enclosed range. Suitable for 8 years upwards. 4 Air-rifles, pellets and targets are provided. One instructor is required for a group of up to 12 people per session. Instructors must have the NSRA Youth Proficiency Certificate. One additional adult from your group is needed to supervise the children not engaged on the activity. Written parental consent under Section 21 of the Firearms Act is required for each session/camp. .

If you require a site instructor, we will send out a request for one. Our instructors work on a voluntary basis and will need to be pre-booked with plenty of notice.

Archery
Archery takes place on an outdoor range enclosed by safety nets with an enclosed waiting/shooting area.. One instructor is required for a group of up to 12 people per session. At least one additional adult from your group is needed to supervise the children not engaged on the activity. Additional adults are useful to help with younger participants and beginners. Instructors must have the GNAS Leader qualification or have done a suitable course . This activity is floodlit for evening use.

Campfire Circle
The campfire circle is available to hire for campfire, firelighting or to use to hold a “Scout’s Own” service.
Climbing
Climbing Our Climbing Complex is an outside climbing structure of 8 faces and a small traversing practice wall. Suitable for Beavers 8 years upwards, The wall is a challenge to both beginners and experienced climbers. Two ropes, harnesses, helmets and equipment are provided or you can use the wall with your own equipment. Two instructors are required for a group of up to 12 people per session. Two additional adults from your group are needed to help with harnesses and to supervise the children not engaged on the activity. If providing your own instructors, they must have the appropriate qualification. This activity is floodlit for evening use.

Firelighting
Firelighting can be run in our campfire circle or in “The Spinney”
Nature Hunt
The nature centre is great for bug hunting and tree rubbings. Contact us for more ideas and a risk assessment.
