Tidy-Up Day at Scout Park

A group of dedicated and passionate leaders came together to spend some time taming nature and clearing out decades of amassed junk from Scout Park.

Leaders from 9th Muswell Hill, 15th Wood Green, Wild Wolf Explorers and 8th Muswell Hill spent all day on the 28th June and the 25th July filling the equivalent of two skips of waste and a separate skip of scrap metal to help prepare Scout Park for the restart of Scouting.

All tasks were carried out within government Covid-19 guidelines – which did mean more shouting took place than normal – but everyone agreed that it was great to be outside doing something practical for a location that we all hold dear.
