Renewing our Scout promises
All around the world, every April, Scouts get together to renew the promises they made when they joined the Scout Movement.
They do this on or around St George’s Day (23 April) because our founder Robert Baden-Powell used the story of George and the Dragon as an example of the kind of courage and service to others that Scouts should aspire.
This year we held a fun day at Scout Park to provide a chance for members of our new district to get together for the first time.
